The industries we serve need new ways to overcome their current challenges, and BeeX is delivering exactly that. Creating anything new is very hard. To do this, we need outstanding people.

At BeeX, everyone is dependent; united by enthusiasm for bold innovation. Our multi-disciplinary team thrives in dynamic environments, driving transformative advancements globally.

You will be exposed to different aspects of Deeptech, from design to commercialisation. Join us to make a meaningful impact on the world!

What our interns can get uniquely from BeeX:

  • Experience the sea life, and potentially discover underwater “treasures”
  • Go to secret places that 90% of population never gets to know about
  • Learn how a deep-tech startup grows in Singapore and export globally
  • Potential job offer (part-time / full-time) before graduation

Your Role

As the Mechanical Intern, you will work on the design, production and testing of the mechanical systems that make up BeeX's flagship Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, and our upcoming vehicle design projects.

You will report directly to the Mechanical Lead. Your daily schedule will include frequent interactions with a multi-disciplinary team and you need to be equally comfortable working at sea trials and a normal office desk

To assist Mechanical Team with:

  • Assist with design and fabrication of mechanical components, mechanisms and electronics housings in CAD
  • Assist with FEA Simulation on design components for structural integrity and stress failure assessment
  • Drafting of 2D drawings for fabrication and assembly
  • Assembly and testing of designed mechanical components in the workshop and testing in real world environments
  • Sail out to sea for testing and evaluation of completed mechanical designs
  • Gather user requirements in collaboration with management team
    and customers
